Quite eventful weekend is almost gone.
We spent Saturday morning on the beach followed by lunch at Dune Deck. Popular among the locals, that NY-style restaurant is located right on Manalapan beach; has an ocean view and excellent food.
A few days ago I came across this dress in my to-be-completed pile.
The pattern I used for this dress was circa 1947. I guess ladies were much thinner in those days and had unbelievably tiny waists seen rarely today (unless you are in your sweet 16s, of course). I had to alter the pattern a little for the dress to fit today's size small. I will post the pics as soon as the dress is finished.
