Here is my second finished project for a tea towel challenge for an upcoming craft book to be published by Lark Books.
The front and back of this dress are made from tea towels. The lavender towel was a thrift find, and 1996 calender one was purchased on Ebay as a part of a wholesale lot. The later wasn't my favorite but in combination with the bouquet towel the purple and lavender hues compliment each other surprisingly well.
This dress was my last project for the challenge. I wish all participating fellow crafters good luck. We surely had lots of fun working on it!
A couple of days ago I spotted this picture in the winter issue of Country Living (I am a big fan!).
The ironing board on the picture happens to be an exact copy of the one I found not so long ago (lucky $15 find). My vintage beauty proudly serves as a handy table in the bedroom providing enough space for a computer, lamp, books, etc.
And here goes roasted pepper and tomato soup we made recently (tomato season is picking up in FL).

Interesting how Sunday I was telling myself I should do this very same thing! The being creative everyday in April thing. See it's still a wee bit cold to go outside, spring isn't quiet here in beauty yet but it is in spirit.
